Last week, Constables Philip Cash, David Eason, Ryan Gable, Rowdy Hayden, and Christopher Jones, along with Sheriff Doolittle and District Attorney Mike Holley, met to continue collaborating on the most effective ways to protect the public from crime in Montgomery County. As I reflect on my first year serving as the Constable of Montgomery County Precinct 2, I am truly humbled and grateful. This past year has been both challenging and rewarding, and I feel incredibly blessed to be where I am today. Serving this community is an honor that I do not take lightly.

None of this would be possible without the unwavering support of my wife, Ashley, my parents, and friends who have stood by me every step of the way. I am also deeply thankful for the citizens of Precinct 2 for your trust, encouragement, and partnership; we serve for you, and because of you.

Most importantly, I want to recognize the dedicated men and women of the Montgomery County Precinct 2 Constable’s Office. Your professionalism, commitment, and teamwork are the backbone of this office. I am proud to serve alongside you and grateful for the work you do every day to keep our community safe.

Thank you all for an incredible first year. I look forward to continuing to serve Precinct 2 with integrity, dedication, and pride in the year ahead.

Earlier this week I was proud to partner with the Montgomery County Law Enforcement Association (MCLEA) along with the four other constables of Montgomery County to help provide scholarships to local FFA students. Supporting the next generation of leaders in agriculture, education, and community service is an investment in the future of Montgomery County.

We would like to extend our sincere congratulations to the outstanding scholarship recipients:
• Sidney Mizell, Vice President, Willis FFA
• Greenlei Wallace, Willis FFA / Champion 4-H
• Reece Welch, Splendora FFA

Last week, I had the pleasure of attending the Montgomery County Republican Women’s meeting, where we celebrated the swearing-in of the organization’s newly elected board members. Congratulations to each of you, your dedication and leadership will no doubt continue strengthening the mission and impact of MCRW. We also had the opportunity to meet members with the Fisher House of Houston.

For those who may not be familiar, the Fisher House provides free, temporary lodging for military families while their loved ones receive medical care. This incredible organization lifts both emotional and financial burdens by giving families a comfortable place to stay close to the hospitals where service members and veterans are being treated. It’s a home away from home during some of the toughest moments a family can face.

During the meeting, the Republican Women also spent time creating snack bags for incoming families of the Fisher House: small welcome bags filled with treats and essentials to brighten their day and let them know they’re supported from the moment they arrive.

If you’d like to support the Fisher House mission, you can make a donation by clicking the link below:

We are grateful for the chance to learn more about the Fisher House and the impact it continues to have on our military community.
