The lands and waters of these civil works water resource projects are managed to conserve the natural resources as well as for the primary authorized purpose of flood risk management. East Weare Rd/Burrough Rd (aka Old Rt 77) in Dunbarton and Weare will be closed for road maintenance starting today. The gates at River Road (Weare), South Sugarhill (Weare), and at the OHRV parking lot (Dunbarton) are closed. The road will be closed for the remainder of the week. The OHRV trails remain open. We will let you know when the road re-opens.

Our staff will be installing a goose deterrent system at the Elm Brook Park beach in the evenings to deter geese from congregating at the beach overnight. This is a motion activated sensor that will produce a loud noise to scare away geese. The sensor will be located next to the concrete walkway at the water, so don't be alarmed if you hear it go off!

Mowing Closure on Tuesday, June 30 & Wednesday, July 1:

A short section of the access road behind the Hopkinton Lake Project Office will be closed to the public from 6:30am to 5:00pm for safety on Tuesday and Wednesday. The closure will start at the Hopkinton Lake Project maintenance garages and end where the access road crosses over D**e H-3. Visitors are welcome to still use the mountain bike trails or walk across D**e H-3, however, we ask that you access those areas from the Elm Brook Park side or by crossing the lawn behind the Project Office.

Sign up for a single program or all of them! The Junior Ranger program is open to all children age 6-12. A parent or guardian must accompany their child to each program.
