Come visit us at Converse Senior Community Center located at 405 S. Seguin Rd and pick up a free case of water. City Staff & volunteers are distributing cases of water to the residents of Converse and the surrounding areas. Stop by tomorrow beginning at 8am.

Team Converse!!!

Big thanks to our Code Compliance Director and Code Enforcement Officers for working extra hard this year to improve and make a big difference! This team improved their own training, internal processes and response and worked as a team to solve hundreds of violations. They also volunteered on various service projects along the way. This team is another reason Converse won the Texas Municipal League Excellence Spirit Award! ...Great job Code Compliance!

We got informed of a graffiti outbreak in the Copperfield subdivision. The team took quick action in removing the graffiti from various parts of the neighborhood. Here is a few before & after photos. If anyone has any concerns or matters that need to be addressed, please reach out to the Code Compliance Department.

Out of zone brush pick up is now available for Converse residents. Max pile size is: *10 Ft Long X 6 Ft Wide X 6 Ft High* Each out of zone pick up is $75. Please call utility building department for further details.

Friendly reminder for Converse residents. *BULK PICKUP* is next week 10/21/2019 - 10/25/2019. Make sure you call Utility Billing to put your address on the bulk pickup list No Later Than Tomorrow (Friday - 10/18/2019) Before 12pm (Noon) for the October bulk list! You can start bringing your bulk items out this weekend. Dont worry if you miss it we will also have *Dump Your Junk* event Saturday October 26th from 8am-12pm. It will be the last Dump Your Junk event for the rest of the year.

Today was a very productive day around the city. We were informed about this dangerous low hanging tree & decided to take action & knock it out for the safety of the residents. ( I stood next to it to show how low it was hanging ) After we finished right behind me I noticed a stop sign that was covered by low hanging trees & we decided to make it more visible for the residents.
