Convoy Residents:

With the closure of 224 and the detour route running on State Route 49 through the Village, please be aware of the increased traffic pattern.

Please use caution on all streets intersecting and crossing State Route 49 and exercise extra caution at the intersection of Tully Street and State Route 49.

Additionally, please speak with your children about safety walking or biking in the Village. Golf cart drivers should also remain alert to unfamiliar drivers and the increased traffic volume.

Construction to start immediately!

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Tully–Convoy Park District Awards Contract for Edgewood Park Baseball Diamond and Site Improvements
CONVOY, Ohio — July 23, 2026 — The Tully–Convoy Park District Board of Trustees has officially awarded the contract for the Edgewood Park Baseball Diamond and Site Improvements Project, marking another step toward enhancing recreational opportunities for the Convoy community.
The project includes the construction of a new baseball diamond along with significant site improvements at Edgewood Park. Planned work includes new dugouts, fencing, backstops, storm drainage, parking improvements, sidewalks, and other infrastructure designed to improve the park for athletes, families, and visitors.
Construction is scheduled to begin on or about July 27, 2026. The project will be completed in phases, with the majority of the work expected to be finished during the 2026 construction season and final completion anticipated by early 2027.
The project was designed by Core Consulting of Spencerville, Ohio, and will be constructed in accordance with the approved plans and specifications.
Whitney Kreischer, Secretary of the Tully–Convoy Park District Board of Trustees, said, "This project reflects our Board’s commitment to investing in our parks and creating opportunities for our youth, families, and community to enjoy quality recreational facilities for years to come. We appreciate the support of everyone who helped make this project possible and look forward to seeing the improvements take shape."
