The Faulkner County Unit 6112 NAACP is excited to announce our 2026 Juneteenth Celebration will be held on Saturday, June 13th from 10am-2pm at Martin Luther King Jr. Park on Conway, AR, located on Markham Street. Join us for a time of fun, celebration, and commemoration of this monumental day.

We are looking for volunteers to help with the event, and volunteers can sign up here:

Please help solve this case!

On May 24, 2018, just after 1:00 a.m., 18-year-old Jody Loring Jr. stepped outside a home on Donaghey Avenue in Conway, Arkansas.

He made it to his SUV, but never made it back inside.

Officers arrived after multiple 911 callers reported hearing gunshots. They found Jody in the driver’s seat of his SUV parked outside the home. Witnesses reported hearing shots fired, and then a vehicle leaving the area.

Jody was a new father. He was only 18 years old.
His life was taken before he had the chance to become everything he was meant to be.

Someone still carries the burden of truth.

Conway Police Department remains committed to seeking justice in Jody’s case and to help bring a sense of closure to his family and all those who loved him.

Jody deserves justice.
