🎃 ONE MONTH UNTIL THE BIG BOO-GINNING!

The countdown has officially begun. One month from today, The Big Boo-Ginning awakens the City of Halloween with costumes, a community parade, live music and plenty of spooky fun.

October 1 | Downtown Conway 👻

Parade Registration | 6 PM
Riverwalk Entrance at 4th Ave. & Kingston St.

Costume March | 7 PM (Registration required to participate)
Join the march through Downtown Conway and make your way to Town Green, 200 Laurel St., where the Ghoul Vibration Concert will follow.

Plus, enjoy food trucks, Midnight Market vendors and a costume contest with cash prizes.

Conway’s favorite season is creeping closer. Are you ready?

💀 Hal Says…Your Pumpkin Belongs Here! 🎃

The community pumpkin patch has taken root in a whole new way. Introducing The Great Pumpkin Oak, a one-of-a-kind display created by YOU!

Families, schools, businesses and organizations are invited to decorate or carve a foam pumpkin with a seasonal, family friendly or a spooky design. Then, bring it to City Hall and help us fill The Great Pumpkin Oak with community spirit!

📍 Drop off at City Hall, 229 Main Street
📅 Bring it by October 1 to be featured all month long
🎃 Foam pumpkins only—no live pumpkins, please

Your pumpkin may even appear in City of Halloween photos, videos and social media posts!

💀Let's get one thing straight...I'm not wearing this because I suddenly love Christmas.
I'm wearing it because even this old bag of bones knows when to give credit where it's earned and Conway has earned it. Conway doesn't just celebrate the holidays, it owns them.

Halloween will always be #1🎃, but I'll let Christmas take home 2nd place🎄.
So here I am dressed like Santa, sitting on a giant reindeer, asking you to help Conway become Hallmark's Merriest Town.
I'm disappointed in me too, so let's make this worth the humiliation!

Ready to celebrate the 4th with baseball, burgers and the boys! 🇺🇸🍔⚾️

Last time I was above ground for an American celebration, I was hanging with Thomas, Ben and John... and let’s just say this crew has a lot less arguing and a lot better grill game.

I may have been in the room in 1776, but apparently “Halloween Hal” didn’t make the final draft. Their loss. These new fits are fire🔥, the burgers are killer🔪, and I’m more than happy to trade powdered wigs and wool britches for a cookout with a few fellow American psychos.

Making the most of this colorful situation until October 1. ~Hal💀

Halloween Hal never did make it to Denver... but he wasn't about to miss the celebration. 💀🏆

Instead, he recruited a few friends, took over Main Street, and celebrated Conway bringing home the Best Social Media award the only way he knows how.

Some trophies deserve a victory dance. 🕺🎃🇺🇸

Still waiting...
I'm beginning to think my ride to the airport took a wrong turn at Christmas. 💀🌙

The All America City Awards are tonight, and I've got a trophy to claim. I mean... Conway doesn't become the Holiday Capital of South Carolina and get recognized as an All-America City finalist without a little skeleton leadership.
If someone could hurry up, I'd appreciate it. These bones aren't getting any younger.

Wish the Conway delegation luck tonight... I'll be doing my part from the curb. 🎃🏆

Well, well, well... it's been a while.

I've been busy preparing Conway's winning strategy for the All-America City Awards. Somebody had to do it.
Now I'm off to Denver with a bag full of holiday hats and one mission: bring home the trophy before Halloween season starts. So get ready for the skele-brations!

After all, Conway didn't become the Holiday Capital of South Carolina by accident.

And between us... are there really other holidays, or just Halloween with different decorations? 🎃💀 If anyone's headed to the airport, I've got a bony thumb out.👍

Of course, Conway was named the Holiday Capital of South Carolina. When you have Halloween Hal’s charm, leadership, and flawless seasonal judgment, success tends to follow. 🎃
Sure, Hal prefers October above all else… but in the spirit of being a team player, he allows the Christmas lights, Valentine hearts, shamrocks, bunnies, and patriotic decor to have their moment too.
After all, every holiday is just a placeholder until we’re once again City of Halloween. And stay tuned for America 250. Hal has epic ideas brewing 🦅🎇
