Did you know that the Clemson Cooperative Extension office in Horry County serves as a Mother’s Milk Bank of South Carolina depot site?
Check out this feature with Rural Health and Nutrition Agent Bailee Floyd, who took over management of the Horry County depot site four years ago! Since then, the depot has continued to grow and serve as a local resource for milk donors while supporting babies across South Carolina.
We’re proud to be a part of this important work! 🩵
For Breastfeeding Awareness Month, we're proud to highlight one of our amazing Milk Drop Depot locations!
📍 Horry County Clemson Extension has been a valued MMBSC depot site for the past four years, helping local donors make a lifesaving impact. Thanks to the dedication of Site Champion Bailee and the generosity of Horry County donors, more than 17,000 ounces of donor milk have been collected and sent to the Mothers' Milk Bank of South Carolina!
Our depot site champions are the heart of our statewide donation network, making it easier for approved donors to share their extra milk with vulnerable infants in need. Thank you, Bailee, for your commitment to supporting donor families and helping ensure donor milk reaches the babies who need it most. 💜🍼
