As we all wake up this beutiful Christnas morning, I wish to thank everyone who helped make it possible for Fostering Hope to provide gifts for over 1000 children this year. Thank you for helping us make a differnce everyday. We wish each of you a very Merry Christmas and a joyous 2026.

Holiday Hours and Donations

Starting this week, we are only able to accept Angel Tree Gifts and gently loved infant, children, and teen clothing during office hours. If you need to drop off Angel Gifts afterhours, please message me and I will be happy to arrange a time.

Drop off hours are 9-12 Monday - Friday, but we have extended hours by appointment for drop offs.

Each year we provide Christmas gifts for approximately 1000 local children and do not have the space nor time to receive and sort other items including used toys/books, adult clothing, furniture, or household items. The overnight donation bin will be locked as of tonight and we ask that you please do not leave things on the sidewalk or in front of the doors. We will begin accepting regular donations after the holidays

We appreciate everybody support throughout the year and especially during the holiday season. Without our community, we would not be able to provide for the hundreds of children we see every month. Thank you for your understanding.

FYI: Our resale store is closed this week for Thanksgiving.

Fostering Hope is looking for volunteers to help sort incoming donations for the children we serve in our community. We are especially busy over next three month preparing for the holiday season

We are open Monday - Thursday 9am until noon. Please contact us at 843-488-3593 for more information or to schedule a time to volunteer. All volunteers must be over 18 years of age.

We are reaching out to foster care agencies in SC counties impacted by the recent hurricane. I will make first trip up this Friday or Saturday with supplies requested. Thank you in advance for helping us make a difference.

Fostering Hope has been blessed with used donations over the past month. But as of today our sorting area is full and we are not able to accept any used donations for a few weeks. (Exception is gently loved and new childrens clothing.)

We sincerely appreciate everyones generosity and continued support of the children in our community, but we are currently overwhelmed with used toys, adult clothing, and household items. Everyone has been cleaning out after the holidays and our volunteers are working overtime to process everything.

If you have any questions about items you want to donate or are interested in volunteering please feel free to call the office at 843-488-3593 Monday - Thursday from 9am to noon. We are hoping to be able to open back up for donations mid February. Thank you!
