*******IMPORTANT TRAFFIC ALERT – August 31, 2026******
Alvin J. Coleman &, Inc. – Phase 2 – Main St. Project
August 31, 2026 – Alvin J. Coleman & Son, Inc. is currently installing temporary pavement on the east side of Route 16, from the intersection of Route 16 and Route 113, north to the south end of the bridge over the S**o River. This is in preparation for
a traffic pattern lane shift, where the existing north and south bound lanes of traffic will be shifted to the east, to allow Phase 2 road construction to commence on the west side of Route 16. Two-way traffic will be maintained at all times. During this time period,
driveway entrances to Conway Marketplace will need to be temporarily closed to allow work to be completed in front of each entrance. The entrance closures will change from day to day as construction progresses, and the contractor will clearly mark the
entrances that are open and closed with visible signage

Route 16/Washington & Pleasant Streets – Four Corners Intersection
WEDNESDAY AUGUST 19, 2026 – 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The subcontractor for Spectrum, Eustis Cable Enterprises, will have (2) crews working at and in the vicinity of the 4 Corners Intersection, as well as other locations within the limits of the
CONWAY_40638 Main Street Project. Lane shifts and brief intermittent stoppages in
Northbound and Southbound traffic will occur to allow crews to work on overhead
communication lines that cross Route 16. This work will be started and completed in the
same day. Expect significant delays in traffic throughout the day. Plan ahead, seek
alternate routes, or avoid travel in this area completely during 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on
Wednesday, August 19, 2026, if possible.
