Early College challenges students to develop their time management skills as they balance school, work, athletics, and other extracurricular activities. It is not easy but the faculty and staff will help them prioritize their time get to them where they need to be. These are skills for life.

On Friday, Ms. Macasek and Mr. Rutenberg met with all 9th graders, 10th graders, and 11th graders on Friday to remind them of our Early College expectations! You can find the student handbook in the daily planner and online.

Trailblazers, after-school clubs are a big part of who we are here at ECHS. We are a service-learning community, and there are so many ways to get involved. Come find out what it's all about this Tuesday and Thursday after school! 🏫🎒

We're back! The Early College Chick-fil-A Leader Academy is back for our second year! This program is an exciting student leadership experience for students of all ages. This year's CFA Leader Academy is working with Key Club Leadership. To be eligible to apply, students must be both in good standing with Key Club (dues paid) and part of the leadership team. See Mr. Chappell for more details. Our kick-off event will be held on Thursday, September 10 from 3:30-4:00 in the cafe. Students are invited to stay after and be joined by their families for AVID Family Night from 5 until 7.

The classrooms were ready, the teachers prepared,
The Trailblazers returned with excitement to share!
With smiles in the halls and a bounce in their stride,
They stepped on the Trail with their Trailblazer pride.

Routines were learned and procedures were shared,
New goals were set and expectations declared.
With each passing day, the excitement grew strong,
As everyone learned how to move right along.

The first week is ending, but we’re just getting started,
With dreams in our hearts and success being charted.
So buckle up, Trailblazers, the journey is bright.
We’re ready to make this an amazing year right!

Early College welcomed our students back on Wednesday and we hit the ground running! It is exciting to think about the opportunities the new school year will bring!

As a reminder, we begin our HGTC classes on Monday! Be prepared for heavier traffic on the first day.
