🔥 Arkansas Fireworks Seasonal Sales Are Almost Here! 🔥

Get ready to light up the sky — the new summer fireworks season runs June 13–July 10.
Whether you're planning a stand or gearing up for holiday celebrations, now’s the time to prepare.
Remember to check with your local City, Town, Community and County to see if discharging fireworks is allowed.

Important Reminder:
Anyone who distributes fireworks for profit must have a valid permit from the Arkansas State Fire Marshal’s Office. This applies to all seasonal stands and temporary locations.

Year Round Retailers:
If you operate from a brick and mortar business, you can sell fireworks year round — as long as you have the proper permit in place.
Let’s keep celebrations fun, safe, and fully compliant this season!

For more information on how to obtain a proper permit, visit https://dps.arkansas.gov/emergency-management/adem/state-fire-marshals-office/fireworks/

Or email the Arkansas State Fire Marshal’s Office at [email protected].

Hey neighbors,

We wanted you to be aware of a tap-to-pay scam where a person is approached outside a store and asked for a donation. The scammer offers tap-to-pay and has the donor tap their card or phone several times claiming "it didn't go through." Later you discover your account has been drafted for hundreds of dollars. Be wary of these scams, the best protection is to decline the offer and instead ask for a pamphlet or handout that lists a secure website you can use to donate safely.

There are many scams going around and have been ongoing for quite some time. This seems to be a NEWER popular one in Faulkner County currently. Thank you, Charles Finkenbinder for letting us know so we can alert our community!

Congratulations Larry Sanders. Can’t wait to work with you in the future.
