Meet the HGTC Presidential Finalists 🎓

HGTC’s three presidential finalists will visit campus the week of Sept. 14 and participate in public forums. Faculty, staff, administrators, students and members of the community are invited to attend and hear from each finalist.

Each one-hour forum will include a brief introduction followed by a question-and-answer session. Attendees will also have an opportunity to share feedback that will be provided to the HGTC Area Commission as part of the presidential search process.

HGTC, in partnership with WMBF News, is helping students head back to school with confidence by offering free haircuts for K-12 students!

Our talented cosmetology students, under the supervision of licensed instructors, will provide haircuts on a first come, first served basis while capacity allows. No registration is required.

HGTC is pleased to announce an expanded partnership with McLeod Health and Horry County Schools that will offer in-person classes beginning in the Fall 2026 semester at The Center for Health & Fitness at McLeod Health Loris.

Join us for the HGTC McLeod Health Loris Open House on Tuesday, July 14, from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. to learn more about available programs, meet with Student Services and Financial Aid, and begin the enrollment process.

🇺🇸 Happy Independence Day from Horry-Georgetown Technical College! 🇺🇸

As we celebrate our nation's independence, we wish our students, employees, alumni, and community a safe, joyful, and meaningful Fourth of July.

HGTC will be closed Thursday, July 2, and Friday, July 3, in observance of the Independence Day holiday. Our Call Center will be closed on Friday, July 3. Callers to (843) 347-3186 may leave a voicemail, and messages will be returned on Monday.
