Every dollar matters. And so does knowing where it goes. ❤️
Transparency and accountability are at the heart of Community Cares.
When you give during our annual Fall Campaign and on the Day of Giving, those donations become part of the Community Cares grant funding awarded to local nonprofits serving Laclede County residents. But our responsibility doesn’t end when the checks are presented.
Community Cares grant recipients are required to provide documentation showing how their grant dollars were spent. Funds must be used for the purposes outlined in their approved grant applications. If any portion is not used as approved, those dollars must be returned to Lebanon Area Foundation and are placed back into the Community Cares grant pool to help fund the following year’s grants.
That means your Day of Giving donation doesn’t simply disappear into a general fund. It is awarded for specific local needs, tracked, documented and held accountable.
You give. We grant. They serve. And together, we take care of Laclede County. ❤️
📍 Day of Giving: Wednesday, September 30 8AM-5PM
Every gift helps us put more resources into the hands of local nonprofits doing the work every day.
