What began as a nationally competitive team in the Firefighter Combat Challenge World Competition has evolved into a multifaceted organization committed to community service, youth engagement, and departmental support. Through partnerships with local organizations, Conway Firefighters Combat Challenge actively supports a variety of meaningful initiatives, including the Conway Fire Department Kids Crawl, Drag and Sq**rt Competition; Conway Fire Explorer Post 911; and the Conway Fire Department Annual Awards Banquet. These programs are designed to educate, inspire, and recognize future and current members of the fire service, and our community we proudly serve.

In addition to these signature programs, the organization regularly participates in community fundraising efforts and provides support for Conway Fire Department training and equipment needs.

The team also plans to continue competing in the Firefighter Challenge League during the 2026 season and beyond, representing both the department and the community at a national level. Our very own Jay Mattox will be competing in the upcoming season opener at the Fire Department Instructors Conference (FDIC) in Indianapolis, IN, so we wish him the best of luck!

If you or someone you know is age 14-20 and would like to learn what it is like to be a firefighter, this is the program for you! Please reach out for more information on becoming a participant or sponsor!

We are very excited to announce our partnership with the Conway Fire Department and Scouting America on bringing back our Explorer Post 911! This is a great opportunity for kids and young adults to experience what it means to be a firefighter, see what we do, and explore a potential future career opportunity. Maybe even become future competitors in the Firefighter Challenge.
