Notice of Election - March 31, 2026
Preferential Primary Runoff Election for Republican Secretary of State
The Board of Election Commissioners of Faulkner County, Arkansas, do hereby give notice that an election shall be held on March 31, 2026, for the Preferential Primary Runoff for Republican Secretary of State, pursuant to Arkansas Code Annotated §7-5-202, for all eligible voters.
Early Voting will ONLY be held at the Faulkner County Courthouse 801 Locust St in Conway from 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Tuesday, March 24 – Friday, March 27 and Monday, March 30, 2026.
Election Day Voting Information
Vote Centers will be open on Election Day, Tuesday, March 31, 2026, from 7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the following locations:
Conway Community Center 250 Central Landing Blvd Conway
Greenbrier Events Center 5 Lois Ln Greenbrier
McGee Center 3800 College Ave Conway
Vilonia First Baptist Church 1206 Main Street Vilonia
The Faulkner County Courthouse is NOT a voting site on Election Day.
To request an absentee ballot, contact the County Clerk’s Office. 801 Locust St, Conway, AR. 501-450-4909. Office Hours are Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
All election processes below will be conducted at Faulkner County Courthouse, 801 Locust St, Conway.
Canvassing & Processing of Absentee Ballots March 31 10:00 a.m. Courthouse
Absentee and Early Vote Tabulation Preparation (results released after 7:30 p.m.) March 31 6:30 p.m. Courthouse
Compiling and Publishing Unofficial Election Results March 31 7:30 p.m. Courthouse
If needed, Duplication and Counting of Election Day Ballots in accordance with A.C.A. §7-5-615 April 1 10:00 a.m. Courthouse
Provisional Ballot Hearing and Final Review and Counting of Provisional Ballots April 6 4:45 p.m. Courthouse
Certify Election April 6 5:00 p.m. Courthouse
A list of appointed election officials is posted at the Faulkner County Clerk’s Office. Any objections to appointed election officials shall be made in writing to the Faulkner County Election Commission, 801 Locust St, Conway, AR, 72034. An objection must be filed within 7 days of March 16, 2026.

Republican Candidates:
Secretary of State Senator Kim Hammer, Bryan Norris
Crossover voting is prohibited in a runoff. If a voter voted in a party primary, they can only vote in that party’s runoff. If they voted a non-partisan ballot or did not vote, they can vote in either party runoff.
School board runoff elections will be held November 3rd during the general election. This change was made by Act 503 of 2025. Ark. code A.C.A. §6-14-121.
Ballot position for the runoff is the same as the ballot position in the primary.
