🌟 Welcome To HCCOA: Brandie Nichols

Meet Brandie Nichols, our Bookkeeper/Accounting Specialist, who recently joined the HCCOA team!

Brandie helps keep our organization running smoothly by tracking and recording revenue and expenses, ensuring the financial side of our mission stays on track.

💙 She loves the welcoming atmosphere at HCCOA, especially the laughter in the office and the willingness of coworkers to help one another.

📊 Brandie enjoys the variety and challenge that comes with her role, where no two days are exactly the same.

😊 Her favorite part of serving seniors is knowing that everyone at HCCOA plays a part in improving the lives of older adults in our community.

As one of our newest team members, Brandie has already jumped in with enthusiasm and a positive attitude, and we're excited to have her as part of the HCCOA family.

🌟 Employee Spotlight: Monica Williams

Meet Monica Williams, a dedicated Mt. Vernon/Loris Driver who has been serving HCCOA for 2 years!

Monica wears many hats—driving seniors to and from the center, helping with activities like crafts and Bingo, and keeping the environment welcoming and clean.

💙 She loves interacting with seniors and building connections with them each day.

🤝 Monica especially enjoys getting to know the seniors she transports, creating meaningful relationships along the way.

😊 Her favorite part of serving seniors is seeing the smiles on their faces and knowing she’s making a difference.

Known for bringing laughter and joy, Monica creates a fun and uplifting atmosphere at the Mt. Vernon/Loris Senior Center.

🌿 Outside of work, she enjoys bowling and gardening.

The HCCOA would like to extend its sincere appreciation to the Horry County Parks and Recreation staff for their invaluable assistance in preparation of the Senior Resource Vendor Expo, and for the opportunity to host today's event at the beautiful Carolina Forest Recreation Center.
We are sincerely grateful to all of the vendors who participated, as well as to the guests and attendees who took the time to stop by and engage with those agencies.
It is our hope that meaningful connections were made and that valuable information about local senior services and community resources was shared. This event would not have been possible without the collective effort and support of everyone involved, and we deeply appreciate the role each of you played in making it such a success.

Meet Bill “Mr. Bill” Kelly, a dedicated Home-Delivered Meals Driver who has been serving HCCOA for 8 years!

Bill delivers meals across four routes each week throughout Horry County, helping ensure seniors receive the support and nutrition they need.

💙 He loves being part of an organization that helps seniors and is proud to play a role in that mission.

🤝 Bill enjoys seeing his clients each week and catching up with them through conversation.

😊 His favorite part of serving seniors is seeing the smiles on their faces—and the friendships he’s built along the way.

Known for being genuine and caring, Mr. Bill consistently goes above and beyond for the seniors he serves.

Carrie plays a vital role in keeping operations running smoothly—handling accounts payable, coordinating Home-Delivered Meals, managing reports, and supporting the team wherever needed.

💙 She loves talking with seniors who call in—and even more when she gets to meet them in person and receive a hug.

😊 Carrie enjoys those days when everything runs smoothly, knowing her work helps keep things on track for both staff and seniors.

🤝 Her favorite part of serving seniors is helping meet their needs or simply being a listening ear.

With years of experience and a willingness to take on any task, Carrie is a dependable and valued part of the HCCOA team.
