Today we honored Mrs. Rachel Nobles like never before!

After more than 30 years of teaching at the same elementary school, it’s impossible to measure the number of lives you’ve touched, hearts you’ve shaped, and memories you’ve created.

Mrs. Nobles, your classroom has been a place of learning, encouragement, laughter, patience, and love for generations of students. Very few people dedicate their lives so faithfully to one community, and your impact will continue long after the final school bell rings and this year is over.
Thank you for every early morning, every extra hour, every comforting word, every lesson taught, and every child who felt seen because of you. One school was blessed to have you for over three decades.

Today we celebrate a truly special member of our P*e Dee Elementary family as we honor our music teacher, Mrs. Shannon Prince, on her retirement after 32 years of dedicated service to HCS.🎶🐝

For more than two decades, she has filled our PDE halls with music, joy, creativity, and unforgettable memories. From daily music classes to incredible chorus performances and productions, she has inspired generations of students to find confidence, talent, and happiness through music.
Her passion, patience, and love for our students have made a lasting impact that will continue long after the final curtain call. Thank you for every song taught, every performance directed, every encouraging word, and every moment spent helping our students shine.
Your legacy will forever be part of P*e Dee Elementary, and you will be greatly missed. Congratulations on your retirement and thank you for 24 amazing years of service to our busy bees!🎤🎵💛

Today we celebrated the amazing Mrs. Sonya Edwards as she begins her new journey into retirement!

Mrs. Edwards has worn so many hats throughout her 29 years, always serving our school with grace, dedication, and a heart full of love. She has served as cafeteria staff, a kindergarten assistant, library assistant, and our ISS instructor. When she is not working in our ISS room, she may be found organizing the lost and found, creating decorations for events, making copies for teachers or covering classes. One of her favorite roles was serving as the crosswalk monitor for many years. Rain or shine!!!

While it’s hard to imagine our school without her, we are excited for the joy and relaxation this next chapter will bring her.
