Good morning Conway! Our country is celebrating an exciting 250 Year milestone this year. We hope you all enjoy your weekend. Please see the image below for our plans tomorrow and Saturday.

Also please remember to NOT place hot fireworks in your recycling or trash cart. The cardboard in fireworks are not recyclable, and we do not want you to have to deal with a melted trash cart (Yes, it has happened)

Good morning Conway! On June 19, 2026, the office, landfill, and recycling centers will be closed in observance of the Juneteenth holiday. Residential and Commercial collections will occur as normal. Bulky and yard waste collections will occur as normal, too!

Good afternoon Conway! The landfill, office, and recycling center will be closed on Monday, May 25, 2026 in observance of the Memorial Day holiday. Residential recycling routes will be postponed the following Monday, June 1, 2026. Commercial garbage routes will operate as normal.

We honor the men and women that gave their lives for us and our country during this holiday.

Good morning Conway! Just a heads up, the landfill, office, and recycling center will be closed on Monday, February 16, 2026 in observance of the President's Day Holiday. All commercial and residential collections will operate as normal!

Good afternoon!

We will be open as normal tomorrow, January 30th. The Commercial team has mapped out high priority areas and will run as much trash as possible throughout the day for our businesses.

The Residential team will run Friday garbage routes as normal tomorrow. Please be aware that if your area is still inaccessible (i.e. large hills) we may not be able to reach you until next week. Reminder-all trash must be placed in your green cart with 3 feet of clearance on all sides to receive service.

Our priority on Monday will be exclusive to blue carts (recycling), as we were unable to pick up recycling last week and this week. If you have any cardboard extras, please keep them beside your blue cart, and another truck will come behind and pick those up. Also, if your blue cart is not picked up on Monday, please keep your blue cart curbside throughout the week until it is picked up. We will then work throughout the week to complete the Tues-Fri garbage (green cart) routes as normal. (If you already have your carts curbside, keep them there!)

Just a reminder, we are open on Saturday and during the week for residents to bring any recycling and excess trash to the landfill for free.

The Department of Sanitation will remain closed on Thursday, January 29th due to continued icy conditions on secondary roads. We will update tomorrow on plans for Friday.

Repeating from last post: Please keep your blue and green carts curbside this week and next week until you receive service. We will be running trash and recycling as we can to catch up as quick as possible when we resume collections. We will not run yard waste or glass next week to ensure we can service as much trash and recycling as possible.

Good afternoon everyone!

We will be closed tomorrow, Wednesday, January 28th due to continued icy conditions. While the main roads are passable, the residential roads remain heavily ice covered which poses significant risk for our collections and landfill staff.

Good afternoon Conway!

We will be closed tomorrow due to the inclement weather. We will update tomorrow afternoon on Tuesday plans.

For the rest of the week: Please keep your blue and green carts curbside until you receive service. We will be allocating a truck or two to recycling during normal trash routes to service as many blue carts as possible to alleviate pressure as we were also unable to service recycling last week due to the MLK Jr. Holiday.
