Officers with the Conway Police Department recently arrested 20-year-old Daniel Villarreal following an investigation into suspicious activity at the Village Apartments.

During the investigation, Officers identified a vehicle occupied by the suspect.

Officers attempted to stop the vehicle as it left the area, but the driver refused to stop and fled, leading Officers on a pursuit that continued into Conway County. The pursuit ended when the suspect’s vehicle crashed near Exit 108 on Interstate 40.

A 14-year-old runaway female from Harrison, Arkansas, was also located inside the vehicle. She was not injured and was safely reunited with her family following the incident.

Villarreal, who is not a Conway resident, now faces multiple felony and misdemeanor charges, including Felony Fleeing in a Vehicle, Theft by Receiving, Endangering the Welfare of a Minor, and Breaking or Entering.

This case serves as another reminder that when criminal activity comes to Conway, our Officers are committed to protecting our community, holding offenders accountable, and ensuring those in need are returned safely home.
