Our school is located in the historic district of Conway, South Carolina, and services approximately 600 Horry County students in grades sixth through eighth. Students are provided optimal learning experiences in an encouraging, supportive, and safe environment. The curriculum is designed to bridge the transition for young adolescents between their elementary school experiences and prepare them fo
r the challenges of high school. We emphasize a core curriculum in language arts, math, science, and social studies. An additional time block, Tiger Time, is offered daily for enhancement of skills and independent reading practice. Students are provided opportunities to explore their interests and nurture their talents by participating in exploratory courses. Classes are offered in band, orchestra, chorus, art, keyboarding, career development, drama, television production, education and health. Exploratory courses are offered on a nine weeks, semester, and year- long basis. Our website provides a school calendar of events and other important information. Parents are encouraged to visit our website and page regularly and to support our school initiatives. We welcome your involvement at Conway Middle School. Conway Middle School Believes
