AIRS is sad to report that our friend and board member Theresa Petry has passed away. She was a wonderful leader for FAIRS as well as an active member of ACB. Theresa will be greatly missed. Our thoughts go out to her family.

Have you gotten your Real ID yet? If not, you should definitely consider doing so.

As Director of AIRS Radio, I wanted to share my experience. I had reservations about getting it done. Paperwork is not my favorite thing to do, and I didn't want to wait at the DMV for them to tell me I don't have everything I need.

Well, I went today, and it was really easy. All they wanted was my Driver's license/State ID, Social Security Card, Birth Certificate, and a piece of mail or document that had my name and address on it, like a phone bill, medical bill, or pay stub.

That was it. It didn't cost me any extra, and they took my picture for my new ID. The only difference in my Driver's License and the Real ID is that there is a little yellow star in the corner of the ID.

If you plan on traveling or going into a federal building, you need the Real ID.
