Horry County Search and Rescue is launching our first-ever Fall Festival on Saturday, October 3rd at the North Myrtle Beach Sports Complex, and we're inviting local businesses and corporate partners to help us turn this into an annual community event.

We're a professional, all-volunteer, 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to K9 and ground search and rescue operations across Horry County. Every certification, every piece of gear, and every training hour is made possible through community support — and this festival is how we fund the next generation of that mission.

With the right sponsors, we can grow this into something bigger every year: live entertainment, games and activities for families, expanded vendor space, and a true community celebration — all while raising critical funds for K9 and ground team certifications.

On behalf of Horry County Search & Rescue, we are excited to invite you to be a part of our upcoming Halloween Howl Fall Festival! 🎃 This event will take place at the North Myrtle Beach Sports Complex Center, October 3rd 2026. 

This family-friendly community event is being held to bring our community together while raising funds to support our volunteer search and rescue team and our mission of serving Horry County. We are excited to announce more information in the upcoming weeks!

At the moment, are currently looking for community partners in several ways and would love to have your organization or your favorite local business involved! We are looking for the following:

Vendor Opportunities
We are seeking local artisans, crafters, boutiques, businesses, and food vendors to join us for the festival and showcase their products or services to attendees.

Community Organizations & Nonprofits
We invite local nonprofits and community organizations to host informational booths, share valuable resources, and help educate our community. We are also planning educational demonstrations and guest speakers throughout the event and would love to highlight organizations making a difference in our area.

Business Sponsorships
We're currently seeking event sponsors to help make this festival a success. Sponsorship opportunities begin at $100 and include recognition through event marketing, signage, social media, and additional promotional benefits depending on the sponsorship level.

Entertainment & In-Kind Donations
Do you provide live music, children's entertainment, demonstrations, face painting, pet-related activities, or another unique service? We'd love to hear from you! We are also gratefully accepting donated services that will help create an unforgettable experience for our guests.

Silent Auction Donations
We are looking for businesses and individuals willing to donate products, services, gift certificates, gift baskets, experiences, or other items for our silent auction. Every donation directly supports Horry County Search & Rescue and helps us continue providing volunteer emergency response services throughout our community.

As a volunteer, nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization, Horry County Search & Rescue greatly appreciates the generosity of our community partners. Donation receipts will be provided for qualifying monetary and in-kind donations, which may be used for tax purposes. We encourage businesses interested in supporting our mission to consult with their tax professional regarding the deductibility of their contribution.

We love seeing our team give back to the community! Our very own Chief Jeff Anderson and K9 Handler JoJo Terestre have been lending a hand with the Horry County Animal Care Center, helping shelter dogs build confidence, learn valuable skills, and get one step closer to finding their forever homes. 🐕

🚨 Coin pick up! 🚨

Please join us at The Sneaky Beagle on August 14, 2026 from 5 to 8 PM for a community meet up event along with our challenge coin pick up! If you have placed an order for challenge coins, your order will be ready for pick up at the event. We will have a few extras available for purchase for $15 a piece.

If you are unable to pick up your coins this day, please send an email to [email protected] and we will be able to sort out another pick up day.
