THEY SEALED THE GREASE DUCT ACCESS PANEL This is another case of an hvac company trying to pass their leak an airflow test. I do not know what it is, but for some reason, their answer is to use high temp sealant on the access panel why would you seal a panel that has to be opened shut ?

I came to do an inspection today on this restaurant that is trying to open. We were clean in the prior restaurant that was in the building. And the fire marshal towed them that it is not meeting in f p a code ninety six I object that, and honestly, this is the reason fire marshals need to get certified and n f p a ninety six, so that they actually know what they're looking for instead of just seeing a smear of grease. And thinking, oh, that's not fire safe
