There were challenges.

And there were victories worth celebrating.

Through it all, we remain grateful for everyone who supports the mission of Elks Aidmore.

💜 NATIONAL GRIEF AWARENESS DAY 💜

Today, on National Grief Awareness Day, we recognize that grief can look different for everyone.

For children and youth, grief may not always look like sadness. It can look like anger, withdrawal, confusion, fear, changes in behavior, or simply needing a little extra patience and understanding.

There is no "right" way to grieve.
There is no timeline.
And no one should have to walk through grief alone. 💜

Sometimes the most meaningful thing we can offer is simply to listen, be patient, and remind someone that they are not alone.

At Elks Aidmore, we believe every child deserves caring adults who will meet them where they are and help them move forward—one day at a time.

Today, let's be a little gentler with one another. You never know what someone may be carrying quietly. 💜

📚 ELKS AIDMORE HISTORY: GROWING WITH THE TIMES

One of the most important parts of Elks Aidmore's history is how the organization has continued to evolve.

The needs of children today are different from the needs of children decades ago.

So Elks Aidmore has continued to grow and adapt.

Over the years, the organization has expanded its focus beyond residential care to include services and support designed to help children, youth, and families navigate life's challenges.

❤️ The programs may change.

❤️ The services may change.

❤️ The world may change.

But one thing remains constant:
Elks Aidmore believes in children and their potential.

That is a legacy worth continuing.

🌳 ELKS AIDMORE HISTORY: A NEW CHAPTER IN CONYERS

In 1977, Elks Aidmore began an exciting new chapter when the organization moved to its beautiful property in Conyers, Georgia.

The property became home to what was then known as Elks Aidmore Children's Home.

This move marked an important transition for the organization as it continued finding new ways to meet the changing needs of children and youth.

And that Conyers property?

❤️ It has remained an important part of the Elks Aidmore story for generations.

From the children who once called it home to the children and families served today, there are decades of memories woven into this place.

A location can be a building.
But a home is made by the lives touched there.
