Sometimes, the strongest influence comes quietly. The kind that shapes minds, hearts, and lives without a single word.

Welcome back to Silent Influence, a space to reflect, grow, and discover the power of subtle yet meaningful impact.

The New Thing Begins in You.

“See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?” Isaiah 43:19

Reflection:
When we hear God say He is doing something new, our minds often jump to visible outcomes, promotion, provision, or external change. Yet God’s “new thing” most often begins within us, not around us.

* Before He changes circumstances, He transforms the heart.

* Before He opens new doors, He renews our mind.

* Before He elevates our position, He deepens our faith and obedience.

God works inward first, healing areas we’ve hidden, strengthening the places we’ve grown weary, and teaching us to trust Him fully. This spiritual renewal prepares us to steward what is coming next. Without the inner work, even great blessings can become burdens.

God’s new thing may not feel dramatic at first. Often it comes quietly: peace replacing anxiety, clarity replacing confusion, and surrender replacing striving. These subtle shifts are evidence that His divine renewal has already begun.

What God is doing in you is more important than what He is doing for you, because who you become determines how you carry what He gives.

Prayer:
Lord, open my eyes to the work You are doing within me. Strengthen my heart for the transformation You are bringing. Help me not rush ahead of Your process but embrace the renewal You are forming inside me. Prepare me inwardly so I may walk faithfully into all that You have prepared. Amen.

When They Say “You Just Want to Be Seen”

Silent Influence |

There’s a unique kind of pain that comes from being misunderstood, especially by women who have never carried the weight you carry, never sacrificed what you’ve sacrificed, and never served from the quiet spaces where God has assigned you.

It stings differently when those who share your gender question your motives. When they look at your faithfulness and label it ambition.
When they see your consistency and call it attention-seeking. When they watch you serve and assume you’re just trying to make a name for yourself.

But here’s the truth:

Being seen is not the same as seeking attention.

People who have not poured out the way you have will always struggle to understand the depth of your “yes.” They haven’t cried the tears you cried before showing up. They haven’t protected the leaders you’ve covered. They haven’t labored in the shadows, held things together, or carried weight that wasn’t even yours to carry, but you carried it anyway.

So instead of acknowledging your devotion, they question your heart.

But visibility is often the byproduct of obedience, not ambition.

Women in Scripture were misunderstood too:

• Hannah prayed from a place of anguish, yet was accused of being drunk.
• Mary of Bethany poured out costly oil, yet was rebuked for “wasting” it.
• Miriam helped lead a nation, yet was criticized for her influence.
• The women at the tomb were dismissed, even while carrying the resurrection message.

People who don’t understand your worship will always misinterpret your work.

Sometimes criticism is just conviction in disguise.

When your faithfulness exposes someone else’s passivity, your consistency their inconsistency, or your courage their comfort zone, it’s easier for them to question your motives than confront their own.

But hear this loudly:

**You weren’t called to convince people of your purity. You were called to obey God.**

You don’t need to shrink to make others comfortable.
You don’t need to dim your influence to avoid being misunderstood.
You don’t need to apologize for being faithful.

God sees the work no one celebrates.
He sees the sacrifices no one acknowledges.
He sees the heart behind the service others misjudge.

Keep serving.
Keep showing up.
Keep leading from the quiet places.
Keep embracing your silent influence.

Your obedience is speaking, even when others don’t understand it.

Good Morning!

Staying the Course.

“Let us not grow weary in well-doing, for in due season we shall reap, if we do not lose heart.” Galatians 6:9

There comes a moment on every faith journey when you look back and realize, you didn’t quit. Even in the quiet battles, the lonely nights, the unanswered questions, you stayed the course. You held on to God when life tried to pull you away. You kept walking when you didn’t understand the path. You continued believing even when your heart felt tired.

What you call “barely hanging on,” God calls faithfulness.

What you call “just surviving,” God calls obedience.

What you call “not enough,” God calls well done.

Staying the course isn’t about perfection, it’s about presence. It’s about choosing God again today, just like you did yesterday. It’s the steady, unseen faith that heaven rewards.

And now, as you step forward, trust this:
Your endurance has been noticed. Your faith has weight. Your consistency is unlocking a new season.

Prayer:
Father, thank You for keeping me when I felt like letting go. Thank You for strengthening me when I felt weak. Help me continue walking in obedience, trusting that everything I sow in faith will bring a harvest in Your perfect timing. Keep my heart steady, my spirit aligned, and my steps anchored in You.
Amen.

Sometimes you have to talk things out to find understanding for yourself.
It’s not always about needing advice — sometimes you just need a safe space to release.
A listening ear doesn’t always have to respond; sometimes their presence alone helps you hear your own heart clearly. 💭

Lord, help us to remember Paul’s words and let our gentleness be evident to every single person we interact with, reflecting the very same spirit of gentleness that You possess. Thank You for being near and instructing us in how to shine with a gentle spirit in our everyday lives.

When leaders make themselves the focus, they put their teams at risk, and rob God of his glory.
