The Night of Dance Showcase was the perfect grand finale to an incredible Day of Fitness | Night of Dance Showcase, bringing together wellness, movement, creativity, and community all in one unforgettable event.

If you missed The Rahk Dance Academy's closing performance of "Magic," you truly missed something special. The performance was filled with imagination, energy, illusion, and breathtaking talent that captivated the audience from start to finish.

Events like these showcase the power of arts and culture to inspire, connect, and enrich our community. We are incredibly fortunate to have so many talented young performers right here in Rockdale County.

February 5, 2024 - June 12, 2026

It is with profound sadness that Rockdale County Fire Rescue announces the line-of-duty death of Firefighter Juan Antonia Smith II, who passed away on June 12, 2026.

Today, we honor a brave firefighter who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to others. His courage, dedication, and selflessness exemplified the highest ideals of the fire service and will never be forgotten.

Though his watch has ended, his legacy will endure in the lives he touched, the community he served, and the brothers and sisters who had the privilege of serving alongside him.

Rest easy, Firefighter Smith. We have the watch from here. ❤️
