Early voting for the August Election begins in 2 weeks on Friday, July 15, and runs through July 30th.

Putnam County's early voting location is located at the Election Commission Office at 705 County Services Drive in Cookeville.

Hours of Early Voting
Mondays 8am-5pm
Tuesdays 8am-5pm
Wednesdays 8am-5pm
Thursdays 8am-7pm
Fridays 8am-5pm
Saturdays 9am-1pm

The August election is just around the corner! Sign up today to work the election and become an election hero! When you serve as a poll worker you serve your community and you get paid.

Qualifications:
Be at least 16 years old
Be a registered voter in the county if 18 or older
Be able to read and write in the English language
Not be a candidate or close relative of a candidate
Not be supervised by a county or municipal elected official on the ballot

Government Employees Who Can Serve as Poll Workers:
All City, County and Metro employees (unless working directly under the supervision of an elected official on the ballot)
State of Tennessee employees
Federal employees – consult your Human Resources Department to ensure eligibility
