Mrs. Asher’s 4th-grade class put this essential question to the test! By dropping objects of different sizes and taking precise measurements of the craters left behind, students gathered direct evidence to compare energy transfers. Great job, Wildcats!

Behind every great school day is a team that helps fuel our Wildcats!

As we kick off a brand new school year, we want to give a special shout-out to our incredible cafeteria staff. They arrive early, work tirelessly, and serve each meal with care, making sure our students are ready to learn, grow, and succeed.

Thank you for your hard work, your kindness, and the countless ways you care for our Jere Whitson family. We appreciate all you do and are so thankful to have you as part of our team!

Parents and Students,

We are so excited to welcome you and your family back for the 2026–2027 school year at Jere Whitson Elementary School!

Our first full day of school is tomorrow, Friday, July 31. Breakfast will be served beginning at 7:15 a.m., and students should be in their classrooms and ready to begin the day by 8:00 a.m.

Here's to an incredible 2026–2027 school year! It’s going to be our best year yet! Go Wildcats! 💙🤍
