What a FUN Water Day at Sycamore Elementary School! 💦☀️

Our students had the best time cooling off and celebrating the end of the year with foam, water, and Kona Ice! A huge thank you to Officer Eddie for providing the amazing foam machine, Mrs. Mattson for organizing Kona Ice, and Mrs. Fitzpatrick for arranging for the fire truck to come out.

We also want to give a special thank you to the Cookeville Fire Department for spraying our kids and helping make the day so memorable. We are so thankful for our community and everyone who helped make this day extra special for our students! 🌟

A huge thank you to the WOW Bus for visiting our school and helping our students get excited about summer reading! 📚☀️

Our students loved picking out books to take home and enjoy over the summer. We are so grateful for your generosity and for encouraging a love of reading in our school community. Thank you for making a difference in the lives of our students! 💙💛

Fourth grade students in Mrs. Mattson’s class participated in a food truck project. Students had to work on a budget and learned how to manage their money. They created advertisements and logos to attract customers. The students worked in teams and learned to share ideas and divide responsibilities.

We are so proud of our Clover Bowl team for representing Putnam County in competition! 🍀⭐

Congratulations to team members Deacon Gribble, Marilyn Lee, Mattie Jo Sliger, and Giada Jones for their hard work, teamwork, and dedication. These students did an outstanding job representing both our school and our community, and we are incredibly proud of them!

Our 3rd and 4th grade students did an amazing job at last night’s chorus performance, followed by an energetic DrumFIT performance! 🎶🥁 We are so proud of all of our students for their hard work, confidence, and talent they showcased on stage.

A special thank you to Mrs. Todd and Mrs. Sliger for the countless hours spent preparing our students and making tonight such a success. Your dedication, encouragement, and hard work truly made this a memorable event for our Sycamore Stars! ⭐💙💛

Our 4th grade students had an amazing time at 4-H Camp in Crossville! Students participated in shelter building, dissected owl pellets, explored the outdoors on a nature hike, and challenged themselves on the ropes course. It was a day full of learning, teamwork, and adventure — and they had a great time making memories together! ⭐️🌲🦉🥾
