Our purpose is to glorify God and draw women together in community in order to serve our Great God! The Women's Ministry at The Avenue is one that reaches out to the women at Washington Ave Baptist Church as well as women throughout Cookeville, Tenn. Our goal is to love, grow, reach, and serve as God leads. Women are relational and a women's ministry in the local church is vital to the heartbeat o
f the Body of believers. As women are reached, families are added to the church and opportunities for ministry are limitless. Women's Ministry is never a stand-alone one but joins with the other ministries in the church to reach people with the gospel. Our desire as a ministry to women is to connect women from all generations, creating community, learning from each another, maturing in the faith, doing life together, and sharing Christ with those we meet along the way.
