I am honored to be elected to Cookeville City Council. I’m excited to serve our community in a new way.
This would not have happened without the support and encouragement of Beth Stone- my dear friend and campaign manager. Beth is a busy woman. She’s running a successful business, she’s a mom- that never misses a game, she makes time for weekly dinners with friends and is always planning an amazing trip with her family. She did not have to take this on, but she did…and we did it!

Tomorrow is the big day!

I have enjoyed campaign season, it got me out of my comfort zone-that’s for sure.
I can raise money for a nonprofit/good cause, all day long! However asking for money, “for myself”, was very uncomfortable.
Mayor Wheaton gave me good advice:
“You care about this community and people WANT to support you. Let them!”
So I did…and you guys showed up!
To EVERYONE that has called, text, donated, put a sign in your yard, wore a “Vote for Cigi” shirt, popped by to show your support, made a post, THANK YOU.

I have to give a special thank you to my campaign manager, Beth Stone. We have had a time, y’all.

Hannah Lambert- my treasurer! We only have 1 more report! Thank you for taking on this job! I’m so thankful to have a “numbers person” on my team! You are also a very busy lady- and didn’t hesitate to help…appreciate you 💜

Scott and Christy Ehlert-Wagner- my sign team! You guys are the real MVP’s- out in the middle of Summer- putting the big signs in the ground!

My parents- thank you for your support and willingness to do whatever I ask of you. Tomorrow is my dad’s 70th birthday-so we are having cake win or lose!

Michael England- my number one fan. Once we made the decision to do this- you were ALL IN. I love that about you. You have encouraged me every single day. Thank you. I LOVE YOU, and I’m so thankful for you and Styles🐶❤️

I love Cookeville. I’m grateful to live, work, and serve here. I humbly ask for your vote tomorrow- so that I can continue to serve this wonderful community.

Thank you Tennessee Health & Wellness for hosting Anton for Algood- Tiffany Anton for Algood Mayor and I for “Empower Her Night”.
We discussed women’s health, women’s voices, and what makes a strong community.

Early voting runs Friday, July 17 through Saturday, August 1.

Early Voting Hours M,T,W,F 8am-5pm, Thurs 8am-7pm, Sat 9am-1pm

Early Voting is at 705 County Services Dr, Cookeville, TN 38501


*All voters must present an ID containing the voter's name and photograph when voting at the polls, whether voting early or on Election Day.
