🇺🇸 Labor Day

In observance of Labor Day, all Coolidge Unified School District schools, programs, and district offices will be closed Monday, September 7.

Labor Day is an opportunity to recognize and celebrate the hard work and contributions of workers throughout our community and across the country. We are especially grateful for our incredible CUSD employees and everything they do each day to support our students, families, and schools.

We hope our students, staff, and families enjoy a safe, relaxing, and well-deserved long weekend!

West is going to start introducing some new attendance incentives to help get our students excited about being at school every day!

🏆 Quarterly Grade-Level Challenge: The grade level with the highest attendance percentage each quarter will earn a special treat.

🍕 Perfect Attendance: We’re looking at bringing back Pizza with the Principals for students with perfect attendance each quarter.

🎯 Year-End Attendance Goal: Students and staff will be coming up with some crazy fun ideas to celebrate this great accomplishment. You might see Mr. Buff

Last night was a very special evening as we gathered together for our 4th Annual Honors Dinner, a night dedicated to celebrating and honoring our incredible students. This dinner recognizes students who have passed at least one state assessment. We were honored to celebrate these accomplishments alongside the family members, friends, and special guests who came to share in their success. Having the people who believe in our students most sitting beside them made the evening even more meaningful. Our students were treated to a wonderful dinner and dessert, generously provided by our West School Student Council and beautifully prepared by the talented students in our Coolidge High School Culinary Program. A heartfelt thank-you to everyone who worked behind the scenes to make the evening so memorable. Your time, talent, and generosity helped create an experience our students will remember. Congratulations to every one of our amazing honorees! 🧡🐅💙
