Limestone County Crime Stoppers is dedicated to keeping our community safe through a range of initiatives. Programs like Safe and Sound Campus Safety help protect students, while annual events such as the April Blue Light Vigil and the May workshop on Domestic Violence Resources bring awareness and valuable support to residents. This August, a Youth Hunter Safety Class will offer important safety education to young people. Both students and adults can call in tips about things that happen on campus or in the community—everyone can play a part. If you “See Something…Say Something” by reporting tips through the P3Tips mobile app, by phone, QR code, or on the website, you could be eligible for a reward. Together, we can make Limestone County a safer place for all.

Texas District Court

⚠️ THIS IS A SCAM! ⚠️

The Limestone County Constable’s Office Precinct 2 wants to warn citizens about a fraudulent text message currently circulating that claims to be from a “Texas District Court” regarding an outstanding traffic citation.

The message threatens arrest warrants, driver’s license suspension, vehicle impoundment, wage garnishment, and seizure of assets unless immediate payment is made through a suspicious website link.

Please remember:

• Texas courts do not typically notify citizens of warrants or traffic citations through unsolicited text messages containing payment links.
• Do not click on suspicious links.
• Do not provide personal information, driver’s license numbers, banking information, or payment details.
• Verify any court-related matter directly through the court or law enforcement agency using official contact information.

Red Flags in this scam:
❌ Threats of immediate arrest or asset seizure.
❌ Pressure to act immediately.
❌ Suspicious web addresses that do not end in official government domains such as .gov.
❌ Requests for online payment through unknown websites.

If you receive this message, delete it and report it as spam. If you believe you may have provided information or made a payment, contact your financial institution immediately and report the incident to law enforcement.

Please help us protect our community by sharing this warning with your family and friends.

We pause to remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for this country and the freedoms we often take for granted.

Memorial Day is more than cookouts, long weekends, and gatherings with family. It is a solemn reminder that freedom has never been free. Every flag flown, every peaceful morning, and every opportunity we have today came at the cost of someone’s son, daughter, husband, wife, father, mother, or friend.

Here in Limestone County, we honor those heroes and the families who continue carrying their memory forward. Their courage, sacrifice, and dedication to this nation will never be forgotten.

Please take a moment to reflect, remember, and give thanks to those who gave everything for all of us. 🇺🇸

From all of us at Precinct 2, we wish everyone a safe and meaningful Memorial Day.
