Attention Borough Residents:
JP Mascaro has informed the office that due to Labor Day next week, both Tuesday & Friday's collection will be delayed 1 day. Trash will be collected on Wednesday (9/8) & Saturday (9/12). Recycling will be collected on Saturday (9/12).

This modification is for next week only.

Just a reminder, mattresses must be wrapped in plastic, and they will not pick up TVs or anything with Freon.

Notice is hereby given that the Borough Council of the Borough of Coopersburg will conduct a public hearing at its regular public meeting on Tuesday, August 18, 2026, at 7:00 p.m.; at the Coopersburg Borough Hall located at 5 North Main Street, Coopersburg Borough, Lehigh County, PA 18036 to consider the request of Coopersburg Exchange, LLC for an intermunicipal transfer of Pennsylvania Restaurant Liquor License No. R-15957 from John C. McCarthy/Farmers Hotel, with former licensed premises at 735-737 Front Street, Catasauqua, Pennsylvania 18032, to Coopersburg Exchange, LLC for use at 232 East Landis Street, Coopersburg, Pennsylvania 18036. Borough Council of and for the Borough of Coopersburg shall, at that time, receive comments and recommendations from interested persons concerning the requested transfer. Please be courteous to others, do not block roadways, and stay safe. Please do not overload the trash collection next week, and consider donating to local Thrift Stores or the Girl Scout Collection on Springfield Street. Take down ALL signage immediately after the sale.

Just a reminder regarding fireworks inside the Borough limits. The PA State Law governs the use of legal consumer grade fireworks:
- Fireworks cannot be set off within 150ft of an occupied structure, regardless if someone is actually present. (Very few properties qualify within the town limits)
- You must be 18 years or older to buy fireworks.
- Fireworks cannot be set off on public or private property without the property owner's permission.
- Fireworks cannot be set off from/in a vehicle or building.
- Fireworks cannot be set off toward a vehicle or building.
- Fireworks cannot be set off by someone who is under the influence.
Please remember to be mindful of pets and fellow neighbors who are sensitive to loud, unexpected noises and may not appreciate fireworks being set off late into the night.
