I'm not sure I have words for how inspiring and emotionally moving this ceremony was this morning. The Otsego-Schoharie-Delaware Nurses Honor Guard was in attendance for the preboarding ceremony honoring Veterans from the Leatherstocking region for the Leatherstocking Honor Flight to Washington DC with 25 veterans in attendance (3 nurses and medics). If you ever get a chance to see this, please go. Thank you to our Veterans!

All supplies that we use to honor nurses (cards, certificates, flowers, Nightingale Lamps, and more) are paid for by our volunteer staff and by donations.

Elections have been completed as there was a quorum at tonight's Quarterly Business Meeting.

Our nurses paid tribute to JoAnn Hubbell of Cooperstown today in a service held at Deysenroth Peter A Funeral Home. Nurses in attendance were Elisabeth Martinez Tissiere (President), Jennifer Garlock-Stringer (Vice President), Sandra Hula, and Paula Johnson .

A special thank you to A Rose is a Rose Florist for donating the white rose for our service today.
