Our partnerships with Bassett and Chobani help food insecure patients coming for hospital services go home with healthy options to fuel their recoveries.

The expansion launched at the end of June, with the first pregnant patient receiving non-perishable food items to take home following a medical appointment. Patients now also have access to fresh refrigerated items and frozen items.

We were so excited to receive a visit from Congressman Riley to discuss how best to support our food insecure neighbors in Otsego County.

Cooperstown Food Pantry Executive Director recently toured CHOW to tour their operations and see what new ideas can be applied here in Otsego County to address hunger.

Yesterday CHOW was honored to host a visit from Cooperstown Food Pantry Executive Director Valerie Jackson.

CHOW Director Les Aylesworth enjoyed this chance to show off our operations with a tour of the warehouse, and discuss CHOW's approach to food recovery & distribution.

Thank you to Valerie for taking the trip out to visit us. This was a wonderful opportunity for collaboration and info sharing among emergency food providers here in the Southern Tier!
