๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ Cooperstown Elementary Celebrates Flag Day ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ

Cooperstown Elementary School proudly continued a cherished tradition Monday morning with its annual Flag Day celebration held in front of the school.

Students, teachers, parents and community members gathered together as Mr. Iverson and our second grade classes presented a patriotic musical performance in honor of Flag Day. The students shared a wonderful selection of songs celebrating our nation, including the Woody Guthrie classics โ€œMail Myself to Youโ€ and โ€œThis Land Is Your Land,โ€ โ€œThe Star-Spangled Bannerโ€ and the second gradersโ€™ favorite, โ€œYouโ€™re a Grand Old Flagโ€ by George M. Cohan.

Thank you to Mr. Iverson, our second grade students and everyone who joined us for this special tradition. It was a meaningful way to celebrate the American flag, reflect on its history and bring our school community together.
