As we prepare to welcome students back for the 2026-27 school year on Tuesday, Sept. 8, Interim Superintendent Ann Meccariello has shared a letter with the Cooperstown Central School District community outlining several important updates and priorities for the year ahead.

The letter includes updates on:

• Exploring regional collaboration with neighboring school districts
• A new transportation service for pre-kindergarten students
• The ongoing South End construction project and its impact on student travel and transportation
• The district’s commitment to continued communication, collaboration and expanding educational opportunities for our students

Only scammers will tell you to buy a gift card, like a Google Play or Apple Card, and give them the numbers off the back of the card. No matter what they say, that’s a scam. 🚧 Traffic Alert Update: Beaver and Delaware 🚧

Traffic Detour Alert! The intersection of Beaver Street and Susquahanna Avenue will be closed tomorrow, August 19 starting around 8:30 a.m. and lasting through the rest of the day. If you are coming to Bassett Medical Center, give yourself extra time, follow construction crew instructions, and follow posted detour signs. Stay safe!
