Multiple storm cells moved over the CFPA district last night and into early this morning bringing lightning and light bursts of rain. Ground and aerial resources are working diligently to locate strikes and ensure no fires were started in result.

CFPA would also like to remind the public that even though some of the district got rain, it was not enough to minimize fire danger. All of CFPA district remains in a HIGH fire danger. During Closed Regulated fire season all debris burning is prohibited this includes burn barrels, brush piles, etc. Campfires are also prohibited outside of hosted and managed campgrounds.
