If any of you on here have the desire, drive or interest (maybe you have kids that are showing interest), ANDDDD you live in Coos Bay, we started a 2nd dirt jumping spot behind the hospital maybe 30 years ago. It was just off of the old trail that connected the hospital to Josh and Scott's neighborhood, the one we would use to get back and forth from the flats to the 30. It runs along the ridge opposite of the hospital and ends up out in some clear woods to the west (across the canyon from the cancer treatment center). There was a rhythm section started and the dirt is good back in there. I was there recently and the trail is gone and I am guessing that the jumps are buried by 20' high brush, but they are back in there. If you come in from the west, the jumps are marked by a dirt pit. I doubt anyone is interested as Coos Bay itself lends any spot to building because of the sandy loam, but never the less, they are back in there.
