Although the falls were still bordered in the bare & burnt timbers from the fires 2 years ago when ventured this this last summer...I find myself excited to see what nature has done to restore the beauty surrounding the falls when I return this year!

This falls results in a unique formation on the South Umpqua River, where shallow water flows over a wide slab of bedrock and plunges 15 feet into a deep pool.
