Mingus Park Pool We are a swimming pool that is open all year round. We area non profit based pool. We are an outdoor pool that is set in a lovely park.

Mingus Park Pool has been a part of this community for over 50 years. We are the home of the Marshfield Pirate High School swim team and the club team Gold Coast Swim Team along. Our facility is open all year round. We are a non-profit facility

Mingus Park Pool Lifeguarding class.
We will be holding a Red Cross Lifeguard certification class.
Prerequisites:
15 years and older.
You must be able to swim 200 yards with face in the water.
Tread water for 2 minutes.
Retrieve items off the bottom of the pool.
Cost is: 200.00 to be paid prior to class, check or cash only. No refunds, even if you don’t pass the class.
Time: You will have to be registered @ Mingus Park Pool by May 18th. ask for Helen
6-hour course online (which once registered with me you will receive a link)
Then the in-person course is 30 hours over the following days and times.
Course content Thursday May 28th , 3-8pm
Friday May 29th , 3-8pm
Saturday May 30th, 8am-6pm
Sunday May 31st ,8am-6pm

Mingus Park Pool is having another drive for our animal shelter. You will be able to bring your donations to the pool. Please use the gate entrance on deck and leave it with the lifeguard on duty.

Animal Shelter Drive
December 19th through December 23rd.
9:00am to 2:00pm ONLY !!!!

Donation Items:
Bags of cat/dog food
Collars and harnesses & Leashes
Toys for dogs and cats
Shampoo for dogs and cats
Unwanted kennel and cat carriers or cages
Towels and bedding

“Donation Drive for Coos County Animal Shelter”
Donation Needs: Food, bowls, leashes and collars, shampoos, for dogs, cats, rabbits etc.
Donations may be dropped off at Mingus Park Pool between 9am to 2pm on Nov. 25,26,28.

Please use the gate entrance on to the deck and bring donations to the lifeguard on duty.

NO CASH DONATIONS will be accepted at Mingus Park Pool but can be dropped off or sent to: Coos County Animal Shelter
