The Annual Holiday Lights at Shore Acres runs from November 26th - December 31st. Reservations for parking are being taken now for 50 % of the availability for visitors that like to plan ahead. The remaining inventory opens on a seven day rolling window. Follow this link to find out more information or to make a reservation.

The Holiday Light Show at Shore Acres State Park features thousands of lights and displays in the formal garden. Timed entry and $10 parking must be purchased before arrival and are on sale beginning June 1 at 6 a.m.

The annual free Shore Acres Oregon Coast Music Festival is happening on Saturday, July 18th at noon. Parking is $10/12 at the entrance gate or an OPRD annual day-use pass is accepted. Attendees are allowed to bring chairs and a picnic lunch while enjoying the festive concert.

The Gothard Sisters Greta, Willow and Solana are Northwest based contemporary Celtic folk multi-instrumentalists, composers, performers and songwriters. This is their second appearance at Shore Acres in the Oregon Coast Music Festival. The sisters display their love of nature, classical and traditional folk music and dance in each performance. They have released 11 albums and performed over 2,000 live shows over the course of their career.

June 21st is Rose Sunday / Father’s Day at Shore Acres State Park

Celebrate Father’s Day among the colorful rose blooms at Shore Acres Garden! Explore the variety of roses in full display and enjoy the serene beauty of the garden.

Park Rangers will be on hand in the Garden House from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm to answer questions and share helpful tips for growing and caring for roses. Make Father’s Day unforgettable with a day surrounded by roses and coastal beauty!

While entrance to the gardens is free, a $10 daily parking fee or a valid Oregon State Park pass is required to visit the park and garden.

Free parking this Saturday for Oregon residents!

Celebrate State Parks Day on Saturday, June 6! Day‑use parking fees are waived for Oregon residents at all parks.

Enjoy activities across the state, from stargazing at Stub Stewart and hands‑on learning at The Cove Palisades’ Festival of the Lands to ranger‑led hikes at LaPine, garden talks at Shore Acres, and kid‑friendly birdhouse building at Prineville Reservoir. There’s something for every explorer.

Rhododendron Day at Shore Acres will take place on Sunday, May 10th. Park rangers will be present at the Garden House between 10am and 3pm to facilitate an enjoyable experience and provide information about the Rhododendrons and Azaleas.

The Shore Acres Information and Gift Center is now offering the Friends of Shore Acres 40th Anniversary inventory, which includes keychains, stickers, and unisex tee shirts in small to 2X sizes, featuring vibrant colors such as bright turquoise, orange, and light blue. Our inventory is regularly replenished with new stock on a weekly basis. The store is open daily from 10:30 to 4:30, and we encourage you to visit and support Shore Acres State Park.
