Coos County Republicans

Coos County Republicans Our #1 goal is to get more conservatives elected! OUR PARTY

Republicans are the party of the people. HISTORY

Republicans come from all walks of life.

The Coos County Republican Central Committee (CCRCC) is made up of over 100 neighborhood reps (called Precinct Committee Persons or PCPs) which represent all registered Republicans in Coos County. Republicans believe the formula that will lift all Americans is equality, freedom and limited government. Our party is deeply rooted in protecting human rights, preserving constitutional freedoms such as

free speech, individual achievement and reducing the burdens added upon hard-working citizens. We are the party that promotes jobs, assures opportunity and prosperity for all Americans. Our focus is building a healthy economy based on free enterprise and sensible business practices, not by burdening families with overreaching government, ever-rising taxes and suffocating debt. The successful future of families, single parents, women and minorities communities depends on a nation that is for the people. Republicans believe in the individual, and we support policies that support the value of accomplishment. Because we love our nation and desire to protect United States of America we are a party that supports strong national defense, healthcare reform that ensures quality care while lowering costs and empowering our children with quality education. Now, more than ever before, America needs our leadership, our passion and our principals to guide her back onto the road to recovery. The American Dream is within our grasp and together we will make those dreams a reality. We have a terrific history that demonstrates diversity and the pioneering of civil rights in our country. African Americans, business leaders, women, veteran’s, Hispanics, Asians, among other communities – fill the halls of leadership from state to state, chamber to chamber. The diversity of our party must be recognized as the party of the people. For nearly 200 years, the Republican Party has been the leader in movements endorsing free speech, abolishing slavery, supporting issues such as women’s rights, free enterprise, lowering taxes and creating sustainable energies and economies. Our party has led the nation through tremulous times with sound economic policies and support of our nation’s military. We maintain the largest single economy in the world and our party embraces and uncompromising commitment to protect the citizens of this nation. Some of our nation’s greatest American’s were Republicans – Abraham Lincoln and Ronald Reagan – all fighting to protect Republican ideals. With a history rich in supporting a stronger, brighter nation, it’s easy to see why we’re proud to be Republicans. OUR DUTY

Our duty is to ensure that Republicans are elected in our Local, State and National elections. We do not take sides among our own Republican ranks and will support all the Republicans elected in the Primary by the people of Coos County, Oregon and the United States of America.

We are going to need help from congress to repair the damage created over the last 40 years, but mostly the last 10 here in Oregon.

Homelessness isn't a one-size-fits-all problem, and it won't be solved with one-size-fits-all policies.

My plan focuses on real solutions that help people recover and rebuild their lives:

- Expand addiction and mental health treatment
- Hold taxpayer-funded programs accountable for results
- Support diversion programs that connect people to treatment
- Enforce laws while ensuring access to shelter and care
- Increase affordable workforce housing
- Better support veterans experiencing homelessness

Oregonians deserve policies that measure success by outcomes, not by how much the government spends. It's time to invest in solutions that work.

Our monthly CCRCC meeting was well attended on 7/29 filled with good food, conversations, and guest speakers. This was a good opportunity to share all about the huge success the fair was. Mary Jo Golder and Andrew Brainard are running for North Bend City Council seats and shared their biographies and ideas they would like enact / focus on if elected. Harry Haines is running for North Bend Mayor and fielded questions from the attendees. The evening concluded with Commissioner Drew Farmer addressing our crime, drug, and homeless problems here in Coos County. The entire 2 hours is on video and we intend to share once the video is uploaded and shareable. Our next meeting will be on Wednesday August 26th and everyone is invited!

The 2026 Coos County Fair was fantastic! American pride and passion for things that make us ordinary people work hard for. The only way we keep our freedom, is stepping up for our liberty and rights. Vote Kotek and Hoyle out in November to ensure we keep freedom over Socialism.

The Coos County Republican booths are all ready for the kickoff of the 2026 Coos County Fair tomorrow Tuesday 7/21 - Saturday 7/25. This is a critical election cycle we are headed into. Oregon deserves change - 40 years of the same leadership has put our great State of Oregon at the bottom…we the people work too hard and care too much to be there. Change is coming on November 3rd! Local City Council and School Board seats matter more than people know - let’s get involved!

Is Val Hoyle a human or an alien sent to destroy Oregon? Monique DeSpain is an alien slayer empowered by the people!

When women and children are not safe running or biking in our public spaces, walking downtown, or visiting local parks, our government is failing at one of its most basic responsibilities.

Every Oregonian deserves safe communities, strong law enforcement partnerships, and leaders who are willing to confront crime instead of making excuses for it.

Public safety must always come first.

Policies have consequences. This picture is proof of that. Warning: Long post ahead.

Last week, I took this photo of an abandoned homeless encampment just minutes from the heart of Lakeside on U.S. Forest Service land. This is an area that used to be family-friendly. It's also located right next to the community cemetery.

This was one of those experiences where I knew I should be taking more pictures, but quite honestly, I was stunned by the magnitude of what I saw right along our waterways.

Not only did we find signs like this one that read, "Enter at your own risk," but we also saw knives stuck into trees, numerous nitrous oxide canisters (major fire hazard during peak fire season), discarded needles, and smells that are difficult to describe.

First and foremost, I want to thank Lakeside Mayor Nikki Wood for her leadership in bringing attention to this issue and for organizing a tremendously successful community cleanup. When state and federal government falls short, it is local communities that step up to fill the gap.

I also want to thank the deputies from the Coos County Sheriff's Office for taking time out of their day to accompany us.

Here are my raw and honest thoughts:

Does the federal government have a responsibility to ensure our public lands are properly managed and cleaned up? Absolutely. In many ways, I believe this reflects the decades of neglect we've seen across our federal forestlands.

But here's the harsh reality: The State of Oregon—and all of us as Oregonians—cannot continue expecting the federal government to clean up the consequences of our own state policies and decisions. What you see here is the result of policies championed for years by many of our state's most influential leaders, including Governor Kotek and Attorney General Rayfield.

Oregon is the only state in the nation with a statewide "Right To Camp" law (House Bill 3115). I was recently asked why a law that has created so many challenges has not been addressed by the Legislature. My answer is simple: misplaced political priorities by the party in charge. The party that controls both chambers in the Legislature and every single statewide office. Bills have been repeatedly introduced to modify or repeal this law. They have failed.

As grateful as I was to have law enforcement with us—from a department that is already stretched incredibly thin—we should not need a law enforcement es**rt to safely walk through our public lands.

Oregon deserves better than this. You deserve better than this. We cannot keep electing the same leaders and expect different results.
