🎉🌈Happy Pride Month! 🌈🎉 From flag raisings over state parks to events across the state, the NYS Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation is continuing to celebrate June as Pride Month. The mission of OPRHP is "to provide safe and enjoyable recreational and interpretive opportunities for all New York State residents and visitors." All Are Welcome here at Taconic State Park and throughout the NYS Park's system.

This baby fox came out of the den for a stretch and our Park Staff caught a few lucky photos. 😍

Hope you enjoy these back in the day photographs of the kiddie pool & Ore Pit Pond. And despite the cooler temps this weekend, swimming is open 11 am to 7 pm, Saturdays and Sundays, until the end of June. Call the park office for changes to swimming hours.

Taconic State Park Staff had a blast today helping DEC Fisheries to stock both our Ore Pit and W**d Mine Ponds. We learned a lot about trout on a beautiful spring day! ☀️

Remember to make sure that your New York State Fishing License is up to date before you plan a fishing excursion to our park! Give us a call if you have any questions about how to obtain a license or want to know what other fish are found in our ponds!
