Today starts the festival of Las Posadas. Las Posadas, Spanish for “The Inns,” is a religious festival celebrated in Mexico and some parts of the United States between December 16 and 24. It commemorates the journey that Joseph and Mary made from Nazareth to Bethlehem in search of a safe refuge where Mary could give birth to the baby Jesus. #CISDTogether

Individuals wishing to address the Board of Trustees during Open Forum during the meeting must complete an information card and submit it to the Administrative Assistant to the Board. For those wishing to comment virtually, the information card must be submitted to the Administrative Assistant to the Board via email at [email protected] between 5 and 5:30 p.m. prior to the start of the meeting. For those wishing to share feedback virtually, then the information on the information card will be read aloud during the Open Forum time on the agenda. Those wishing to comment in person, can fill out a card and give it to Carol Snowden before the board meeting begins. During this time, in-person attendance to board meetings is limited and attendees must wear a mask and follow all social distancing guidelines.
The next regular Board meeting is on January 11 at 6 pm. On January 25, Coppell ISD will hold another Board Workshop on the budget beginning at 5:30 pm.
