Temporary window inserts with screens, constructed years ago by Gull Rock Lightkeepers board member Roger Welsh, while not historically appropriate, offer protection to the lighthouse and allow light and air in while the lighthouse is occupied and exterior security panels are removed. A very welcome temporary addition!
