Please join us in congratulating Officer Bosquez on 5 years of service with the Copperas Cove Police Department! ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿผ ๐Ÿ’™ ๐Ÿš”

Officer Bosquez is one of our dedicated night shift officers who is always willing to step up, not only on patrol, but also throughout the community. Whether itโ€™s attending community events, helping with department initiatives, or simply being present when needed, he consistently represents the department in a positive way.

Thank you for your hard work, dedication, and service to the City of Copperas Cove over the last five years. We appreciate you and look forward to many more!

Most people see the emergency lights when help arrives. What they do not always see is the dispatcher already working behind the scenes to make that response happen.

Recently, a resident contacted us after a medical emergency involving his wife and shared appreciation for everyone involved. He praised the 9-1-1 call taker for staying calm, gathering critical information, helping him assess his wifeโ€™s breathing, and remaining on the line until responders arrived. He described the actions taken as showing โ€œprofessionalism, compassion, and commitment.โ€

For us, messages like that are especially meaningful because dispatchers play such a critical role in every emergency response. While officers, firefighters, and EMS personnel are making their way to the scene, dispatchers are coordinating the response, relaying information, directing responders, and helping callers through some of the most stressful moments of their lives.

Dispatcher Supervisor April Lingo and Dispatcher Tyler Murphy helped coordinate this call and ensure responders got where they needed to be quickly. Officer Calhoun and Sgt. Searcy also responded alongside the amazing crews from the Copperas Cove Fire Department.

The resident summed it up best by saying, โ€œThis event displayed the best-of-the-best with everybody involved.โ€

We appreciate everyone involved and the work they do for this community every single day. ๐Ÿ’™

Heads up, Copperas Cove! ๐Ÿš”โœ๏ธ

You may start noticing a new door hanger left by our police officers at homes and businesses, and no, itโ€™s not trash, spam, or solicitation! ๐Ÿ‘€๐Ÿฅธ

The new door hangers are part of our crime prevention efforts and for false alarm notifications. So if you see one on your door, take a moment to check it out, itโ€™s official, important, and designed to keep you informed and our community safe. ๐Ÿ’™

Thank you for helping us keep Copperas Cove a great place to live, work, and do business!
