We have obtained enough lifeguards to open South Park Pool!

Starting Saturday, June 13, 2026, both City Park Pool and South Park Pool will be open to the public.

Open Swim
• Monday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday: 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM
• Saturday & Sunday: 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Closed Tuesdays
Senior Swim
• Monday, Wednesday & Friday: 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Water Fitness
• Monday & Wednesday: 8:15 AM
• Tuesday & Thursday: 6:30 PM
Make-Up Classes
The 8:15 AM Water Fitness classes scheduled for June 8 and June 10 were canceled. Make-up classes will be held on June 11 and June 12.

As a reminder, our lifeguards are trained to observe patrons' swimming abilities and recognize signs of fatigue or distress in the water. They are trained professionals who follow established safety procedures and protocols designed to protect everyone at our facilities. They follow the principle of "When in doubt, jump out" and will continue to serve as the last line of defense in keeping our pools safe.

Their primary responsibility is the safety of all patrons, and they may make decisions based on their training and observations of conditions in and around the pool. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding as they work to provide a safe and enjoyable environment for all guests.

For everyone's safety, please remember:
• Children wearing life jackets are not permitted to use the water slides.
• Children must be supervised at all times, with a responsible adult maintaining visual contact.
• Please follow all pool rules and lifeguard instructions.
• We ask all patrons to treat our lifeguards with courtesy and respect while they are performing their duties.

We are currently in need of additional coaches and are also awaiting the approval of several coaches' background checks.

The Parks & Recreation Dept. began a dredging project for the City Park Pond today, Monday, June 8, 2026, as part of its ongoing commitment to environmental stewardship, public recreation, and the preservation of community assets. Over time, ponds naturally accumulate sediment, organic material, and debris that reduce water depth, impair water quality, and diminish the pond's ability to effectively support wildlife and manage stormwater runoff. ✅ Family Swim will still take place tonight from 7:30 PM–9:30 PM.
✅ Swim Lessons are also still scheduled for this evening.

We plan to reopen for Open Swim on June 5, 2026, from 11:00 AM–6:00 PM.

City Park Pool will be closed on June 1, 2026, for our Lifeguard Certification Course.
