Baby Announcement!

Please join us in congratulating Firefighter Chris Lingo and his wife, Alexis, who gave birth to their second child, a baby boy, Clay Lingo!

Clay arrived on August 20, 2026, at 3:34 PM, weighing 7.5 pounds and measuring 20 inches long.

We are excited to welcome Clay to the Lingo family and the CCFD family!

Congratulations to Chris and Alexis on their growing family, and welcome to the world, Clay!

A New Addition to the Fleet!

Turning Construction Into Training

Station 1 is currently undergoing concrete renovations in the back parking lot, giving our crews a great opportunity for some hands-on training.

Firefighters are practicing cutting concrete and rebar with the K Saw and using pneumatic lift bags to raise sections of concrete—skills that can be critical during structural collapses and other technical rescue situations.

Train today. Be ready tomorrow.
